The PCA9685 is an integrated circuit with I2C communication that allows the control of up to 16 channels of PWM.
It has its own built-in oscillator signal, so it can run independently without the need for continuous updating by the microcontroller.
Servo controller, 16 channels (PCA9685)
Control using the I2C protocol
It has 6 pins to select addresses, so up to 62 systems can be used together, which is equivalent to up to 992 outputs.
Adjustable PWM frequency up to 1.6kHz
12-bit resolution for each of the outputs.
Configurable push pull or open drain salute
Output enable pin, for quick enable or disable of all pins.
